During the corona lockdown, you can still buy rolls, cakes, cookies and small meals to take away. Varied, fresh and delicious. Still to be recommended!

A super great café with an incredibly atmospheric outdoor restaurant. Here you can spend hours and enjoy the time with a delicious lemonade, especially in summer.

Absolutely not a recommendation. I wonder how to leave a positive review here. Dealing with the employees is a bummer and that alone is a reason to stop visiting and supporting this shop.

A great location in the middle of the city. Inconspicuous entrance and then the nicely furnished back yard. :-) The right place to relax. Breakfast buffet was a dream. There was something of everything. With many visitors, the replenishment seems to stutter a bit, but a nice gentleman runs around with smeared delicacies and distributes them. The price for the buffet is perfectly okay, as there was salmon, crab and really good cheese. Tip: For friends and acquaintances a great voucher that you can give away.

Normal buffet without any special features. Attentive staff. The backyard serves as a beautiful location. Buffet at 22.50 € much too expensive. Breakfast instead of buffet (1x bread roll, a bit of couscous salad and some fruit) for 12.50 € also clearly too expensive. Corona requirements at the buffet are questionable. Would choose a different location for a breakfast buffet.

Location highly recommended. Food selection at the buffet not declared (vegan) and unfortunately too small for the number of guests at the weekend (waiting times). Still recommendable

What's going on here? This green oasis in the middle of Kiel has always inspired me with its beautiful garden in the inner courtyard and the delicious, vegan dishes. The menu is varied and the food is super fresh! The spinach and blueberry salad and vegan dips are my favorites for lunch. Unfortunately, on my last visits, I noticed the tense, unfriendly treatment of the employees. You could hear shouts from the kitchen. Another time, a service staff appeared with tearful eyes - despite everything, trying not to show anything. Even under these circumstances, she remained professional and friendly. My companion and I lost our appetite. An absolute no-go! Even the best food cannot justify disrespect to the staff. The behavior of the "boss" does not match what the Fresco actually wants to represent. Too bad ... that's it for me.

From the street you can't see how beautiful the courtyard is. Very cozy, would be happy to come back with "reinforcement" food drinks service everything is right.

Was here for breakfast. Nice little shop, great atmosphere. The courtyard is wonderful and designed with love. Because of the corona measures, we only had 2 breakfasts to choose from. A variety of delicious little pieces are offered. However, proud prices. I would visit again anyway as delicious :-)

Fresco - is a wonderful discovery - a very nice restaurant with a lovingly and imaginatively landscaped garden, where you can enjoy delicious dishes with lots of fresh ingredients in nature (in the middle of the city). A very nice staff makes the visit to Fresco a complete experience. Many thanks to the owner for the great effort in creating and maintaining the more atmospheric garden.

Actually a really great location, a green oasis in the middle of the city through the backyard. Nice menu, reasonable prices, good selection. I always like to come back here. There's one star less, because unfortunately you always have to wait a long time before orders are taken. Sometimes you sit there for ages and then go back in to ask at the counter and then they say, oh dear, haven't seen you at all. Since this has happened several times now, it just feels like a bit too lean staffing.

I was totally surprised when I got to the outside area through the restaurant. The inconspicuous street front does not suggest which cozy and lovingly designed courtyard awaits you. Waiters were attentive, thoughtful and knew how to handle our group of women well with the extra requests. We are looking forward to the next time.

The welcome is very warm and you will be treated continuously. The food is world class! Vegetarians and vegans will also get their money's worth here. We would love to come back

An absolute dream! Delicious food and breakfast, great team and good coffee! When you step out on the street again, it feels as if you came from an enchanted parallel world.

Very, very beautiful garden with a dreamy, fairytale atmosphere! Delicious fresh waffles, fresh fruit salad, homemade lemonade and also good hearty food with fish and meat or vegan. Fantastically beautiful here :-)

It was a coincidence that we came across this great restaurant today. Nice and different ambience. Service was very friendly - due to Corona, everything is a little different at the moment. The coffee was good and the cakes delicious (sour cream cake huge!).

An excellent selection of food on the menu, often has loads of meals to choose from and new dishes added by the chefs constantly. Went for a causal dinner, really happy with price, value for money. An excellent hype to the atmosphere and no waiting for food, precisely what we needed for our dinner night out. Our waiter really was knowledgeable And helped us select the dish of the day. Wonderful service and ambiance, would highly recommend the food and good for kids too.

The grilled meat and vegetables tasted amazing. The staff were really accommodating to our 4 girls, making waffles for them playing in the sand. It's a fantastic place!!

Beautiful Cafe but with mediocre coffee. Every time i order an easy Double Espresso they let the coffee run until the cup is full when they should stop it half way. That way is like you getting an Americano. You don't really taste the coffee!

Lovely garden in the back, but the coffee can't compete with its neighbours. Go to the Bakeliet or Resonanz if you're after a proper Flat White or Cappuccino.
